This is written to be read, not to cover us. If anything here is unclear, email hello@agenzus.com and a person will answer.

The one thing to know Your planner is stored in a database that we run. It is locked to your planner alone, so no other user can see it, and it is encrypted on disk and in transit. But it is not hidden from us. The people who run Agenzus can technically open the database and read what's in it. We don't, except to fix a problem you've asked us to fix, and we'll say so if we do. If you need a planner that nobody but you can ever read, this isn't it, and we'd rather tell you now.

What we keep

What you file. To-dos, shopping, bills, birthdays, ideas, projects: the words, dates, amounts and notes on each.
Your notes. Anything you talk or type into Notes, earlier wordings you've kept, and the action items pulled out of them.
Your planners' names (Personal, Work and so on) and your settings. These stay on your phone; they're only copied to us briefly if you link a second phone.
The name you gave us, if any, and what you asked to be called. No email address or phone number is needed to use the app.
A reminder address for your phone, if you turn reminders on, so we can send them.
A count of what you've used each month (things filed, tidy-ups, minutes of recording), so the allowances work.

We don't keep your voice. Speech is turned into text on your phone by your phone's own speech service (Google's on Android, Apple's on iPhone), and only the text reaches us. Photos of bills are read once and not stored.

A note you talk or type and simply keep is never sent to Anthropic. Only the actions you choose (Tidy up, Suggest changes, filing, the bill photo) send text out, and the app says so on the screen where you choose them.

Who can see it

You. Only your phone, or a phone you've linked with a code, can open your planner.
Other users: no. Every request is tied to your planner and the server refuses anything else.
Us: technically yes, in practice no. See the box at the top. The accounts that can reach the database are held by one person, protected with two-factor sign-in, and not shared.
Advertisers, data brokers, anyone else: no. We don't sell, rent or share your data, and there are no advertising trackers in the app.

How long we keep it

Your planner stays as long as you use it, plus 30 days after your last payment if you're a paying customer.
Meeting recordings, if that feature is on, are deleted about a week after they've been turned into words.
Delete something in the app and it's gone from the database, and from backups within 7 days.
Ask us to delete your whole planner and we do it within 7 days and confirm by reply.

Getting it back out

Settings has an Export a copy button that gives you everything in a plain file you can keep or take elsewhere. No need to ask us.

The law

Agenzus is made in Tasmania, Australia. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles even where the Privacy Act's small-business exemption might mean we're not strictly required to. If you're outside Australia, your data is still stored in Singapore and processed as described above.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you, and the date at the top will move. We won't quietly widen what we do with your data.
